Why Climbing?Climbing is more than just a physical challenge. Climbing is an incredible sport that builds strength both mentally and physically! It engages a diverse range of muscles and movements, and also requires strategic and visual planning in order to successfully complete a route.
Climbing demands total concentration and focus. It allows for a close study of nature (i.e. outdoor climbing), spacial awareness and problem solving, as completing routes on the wall requires an individual to break down bigger problems into smaller parts. It also builds confidence as the activity offers quick and clear rewards when completing a route. Ultimately, climbing presents you with a chance to test yourself and discover depths of resilience, stamina and perseverance. |
